Ana M. Vicedo-Cabrera, the current head of the climate change and health team at ISPM, has been recently appointed by the Executive Board of the University of Bern as Professor in Climate Impact and Public Health in the Built Environment. This is an endowed position by the Mobilière Cooperative and the professorship will be based at the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM) and the Oeschger Center for Climate Change Research (OCCR).

Cancer survivors face a heightened risk of developing second tumors, according to the first-ever national Health Report on Cancer, with major contributions from the Swiss Childhood Cancer Registry (ChCR), hosted at ISPM Bern.

Carole Metekoua Temdemnou received the prize for the best talk at the 16th symposium of the Graduate School for Health Sciences, held at Studienzentrum Gerzensee on 31st October and 1st November 2024.
